Here is a list of the best books for Alzheimer’s Caregivers. These are books that I have found helpful in the Alzheimer’s caregiver journey. There are books on the science of preventing Alzheimer’s Disease, a book with helpful details about being a caregiver, and a novel about individual experiences with the disease.

This book describes a 5-pillar system to prevent and reverse cognitive decline, quite similar to the ones listed above. The diet may not be as detailed or updated as the others, but he gives more detail to some of the other pillars, such as sleep and challenging the brain.
The 36-Hour Day: A Family Guide to Caring for People Who Have Alzheimer Disease and Other Dementias

A huge book giving many details of how to care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s Disease. This book is a standard.

A moving and realistic fictional story of a person going through early onset Alzheimer’s Disease. It gives you an idea of the journey through the patient’s eyes.
