Nobody wants to find lice on their kid’s head. These days, it can happen to anyone. All it takes it being close to a friend while they are playing, or bumping into somebody else in the hallway or on the playground.
Lice actually like clean hair better than dirty hair. If you smell good to them, then they will be happy to dig in and make you their new home.
These days, many of the lice have become immune to the standard over-the-counter shampoos and treatments. We are back to the old ways of combing and combing, but there are still some methods that work better than others.
Don’t go spend a lot on shampoos at the store that don’t work. And don’t try things like mayonaise or Vaseline – ugh! Impossible to remove from the hair.
Instead, go to a professional who can teach you how to do this right the first time!
